THE DISCOVERY CENTER OF IDAHO UNVEILS NEW EXHIBIT

The Discovery Center of Idaho is proud to unveil its newest exhibition, Superstruct: Some Assembly Required, presented by CHSQA, and designed to inspire the builder in all of us. This is the science center’s third consecutive exhibition designed and produced in-house.

Superstruct, designed to give a hands-on look at foundational principles used by engineers, will be held in the science center’s newly renovated workshop. Additionally, the Discovery Center will reveal its new Young Learner area, which  features two exhibits and three nursing chairs for attendees aged five and younger.

Now in its 27th year, the Discovery Center of Idaho is the state’s premier science education center, offering a variety of exhibits for kids and adults alike. Featured as one of Conde Nast Traveler’s 10 Best U.S. Museums for Kids (and Kids at Heart), the Discovery Center has a complete schedule of programs and educational offerings planned through 2016 and beyond.

Within the new role, Carolyn Holly will serve as a key liaison to the communities that Saint Alphonsus serves.  She will be an instrumental part of developing meaningful relationships with local resources and organizations, evolving a strategy for public collaboration, and advancing Saint Alphonsus’ mission to be a transformative healing presence within the community.

Carolyn has served for more than 30 years at KTVB Channel 7 television, where she became one of Idaho’s most experienced and best known television personalities. Carolyn will continue to serve as an anchor on KTVB Channel 7 until February of 2016, when she will subsequently make the transition into her new role at Saint Alphonsus.
