Sometimes! I work relief as a small animal veterinarian at the Critter Clinic on Ustick road in Boise.
Boise/Eagle native or transplanted to the area?
Transplant – I was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and attended college and vet school in Pullman, Washington.
What’s on the floor of your car right now?
A small cooler is in the back of the car – my husband and I operate Canine Blood Heroes, a blood bank for dogs, and we use the cooler occasionally to transport blood products to local veterinary clinics.

How would your best friend describe you?
Honest and good at keeping in touch.

Anything but Wendy’s.
Organization that gets most of your volunteer time?
Church until now, though school will start to compete for time as my oldest starts kindergarten this fall.
Best vacation ever?
There are several, though one of my favorites was a trip to New York City last May with my mom. I got to catch up with an old friend from college, share laughs with my mom, and watch her perform with a choir at Lincoln Center. We stayed up late, got up early, walked until our feet hurt, ate too much, dressed our best and took in “Phantom of the Opera” on Broadway. Purchased two umbrellas in the pouring rain, and strengthened an already strong friendship.
What do you record on the DVR?
Nothing, but if I had one I would record “Bones” or maybe “Madam Secretary.”
Where do you wish your husband would buy your next gift?
The WSU Cougars Fan shop – our new-to-us car needs some Coug love.
Favorite gadget or gizmo?
At the moment – a binky (though it’s not technically a gadget…)
Unique or interesting fact about yourself or your college years?
College is where I discovered my self confidence. Moving from Albuquerque to attend college in Pullman was one of the best things I have done for myself.
