Success in the restaurant biz can be a tough equation to figure out. The ingredients for a thriving business rely on a combination of differing factors: location, sweat equity, hardworking staff and, above all, a variety of great food!
Located at the corner of Linder and Chinden Road, Homestead Bar and Grill fits the bill on all counts. Recently celebrating their one year anniversary, this local pub grub is far removed from your typical restaurant or chain experience. Don’t be fooled by the ubiquitous strip mall storefront—once inside, the interior is anything but. The ambiance is both comfortable and welcoming—rustic decor and a giant wraparound bar that could easily seat your whole team for a friendly after-work libation—yet still lends to a relaxed family-friendly atmosphere.
The menu is chock-full of different dining selections and offers many options that you’d expect to find with pub fare: grilled burgers, sandwiches, salads, wings. And some items you wouldn’t: nine different spins on mac ‘n’ cheese—how about Idaho Mac or Tequila Chicken Mac—and seven varieties of pitas, not to mention 40 different rotating beers on tap and, of course, don’t forget to try their Mega Mary, which they are known for! Become a member of the “Brew Club,” and for a $100 yearly fee, every time you stop by for a cold one, a 25-ounce mug will be filled to the brim for the same price as a pint. Yes, membership does have its privileges.
If you and the family or perhaps a group of friends are looking for a little place to meet up, the Homestead Bar and Grill is bound to please. Better yet, how about a little weekend breakfast to soak up the indulgences from the night before? The Homestead Bar and Grill also serves breakfast until noon on Saturdays and Sundays.
